The latest Colenimo collection has landed! [Please excuse the rubbish Aviator pun]
Inspired by the pioneering female pilots of aviation's golden age, feelings of freedom and adventure underpin a collection that mixes sturdy utilitarianism with understated elegance. Pieces include the ever-popular white-collared jumper in an array of new colours (oatmeal, mustard and navy) and the star of the collection has got to be the flying jacket available in both heavy Melton and French sheep-skin. When it comes to fashion, our heart lies in the weird and wonderful ways of Textiles. So when we spied the work of Iceland's Hildur Yeoman we were instantly catapulted into a stratospheric Crochet Crush! We've got a couple of bags from her Poodle and Swan collections and some 'multi-functional' necklaces too (think anything 'multi' in this Credit Munch era a good thing folks).
Oh, and did we mention that the boxes for each piece are individually illustrated by Ms Yeoman too...

We're very excited to be teaming up with Esska, Bena, Sonya Kashmiri and Urban Knit for a sample sale at the end of July! We're now on sale (both instore and online) and our window stylist Ivana Nohel has excelled herself once again ... we now have our own trapeze artist complete with sand-lined circus ring! We loved Migh-T's koala print from aw09 soooooooo much that we asked if we could do a lol X migh-t collaboration; happily for us, the lovely Kumiko agreed! We've used the finest organic cottons and British printers to re-create the classic labour of love peter pan collared 3/4 sleeve blouse, an oversized cap sleeved sweatshirt dress and some tote bags. So if toile de jouy koalas, seagulls, kangaroos and platypuses grab you ... come take a peek instore or online.

When we first saw Sarah Carver's handmade Ins Kino collection of digital print silk blouses it was a no brainer that we needed to get them in the shop a.s.a.p. We started with a small batch and they went down so well that Sarah's been burning the midnight oil again and I'm pleased to say we've just receeived another delivery. We have the classic gem digi print as well as a mix of large polka-dot prints.

The lovely Kozue from the Shiny Little Green Things blog popped in last week. The blog is based on scouting out the best in green and ethical fashion and she instantly swooped on our Eley Kishimotos brogues made with fabrics from the Eley Kishimoto archives.
Kozue also fell for Lu Flux's Pennines dress which is part of the SS11 collection available on our eshop here.
