The lovely boy and girls from KIND launched a kids collection and we were extremely excited to be the exclusive UK retailer. In their own words ...
As you read this, somewhere in the world, there is a new you, a better you, a smaller you, waiting to replace you. But, as we at the KIND studio have noticed, the new batch of kids popping out these days is somewhat inferior to generations past. Their music isn’t as good. Neither are the cartoons they watch or the fashion they don. In order to take control of the situation, and perhaps save mankind, we’ve decided to mould the new kids in our image, starting with the clothes they wear. We will dress them as we dress, and we will have the last laugh. Oh yes.

The turner prize winner was announced today and she was wearing one of our tops...
Susan Philipsz was presented the award in LOL's favourite front frill top,polka dot version. Sketch also took he same style, though with a Dick Hogg print, to the Frieze Art Fair as part of their restaurant uniform. It seems to be becoming the art world's top of choice. We thought we'd have a bit of fun with our sale window this time round while paying homage to the hungry little creature in the 80's video game Pac Man.In our version though our hard up little chap is choosing lasercopied pound notes and dollars over strawberries and grapes so he can bag himself one of the many lovely frocks in the sale and yes,in our version he also happens to be a tranny!
We also became a little glue gun happy and contiued sticking the copied notes to the shop entrance floor and infront of the shop window.Reactions from passersby varied from the incredulous and grabbing to the disappointed/angry and tearing!We were also reminded by a police folk that it is illegal to photocopy money!

We've been quite busy with a few other projects recently. One of the nicest was the new uniform we've done for the restaurant / tea room Sketch. Known for many things, we'd like to think that the beautiful new unifoms will eclipse the design of the toilets as the most talked about feature. But we're not holding our breath. You'll also be able to see it at this years Frieze as Sketch are doing the catering.
The uniform is one of the classic lol ruffle shirts, with a print that the amazing Dick Hogg, did for us. Very nice it looks too. A nice mix of the classic and quirky. Sketch and lol; it's, like, you know, brand synergy, ya?

Finally, though it's taken longer to get together than a London olympic site, we'll finally have an e-shop up and running soon.
Though we can't possibly have everything in the real store online, we will have lots of shoes, accessories, jewellery and our own label up on the site. We are hoping it will be a seamless voyage into the cyber ether for us but, hey, we are being realistic...
